Baker Park Boat Landing - A Beautiful Place To Drown Despite the Warnings...



The Rogue River is a beautiful place to spend your next summer vacation. 
Offering swimming, rafting, kayaking & jet skiing just to name a few ways to cool off.

Baker Park Boat Landing is conveniently located in the heart of Grants Pass. 
It is a very popular gathering place for many local residences and visitors to the Rogue Valley every year. The bridge is informally known as the Grants Pass Parkway Bridge. 
Baker Park is located on the south side of the river near the bridge.
Remember
Despite the Warnings:
With a fast moving current and wicked undertows 
Every year there is at least one tragic drowning in this popular swimming hole that could have probable been prevented.
Aug 17 2010 - Drowning victim was only one to go missing

June 18 2011 - Search for missing Rogue River swimmer called off
July 31 2014 - Boy, 7, drowns in Rogue River near Grants Pass park
